Q: Where can I apply?

A: Applying for a BDO credit card is easy. Simply complete the credit card application form and submit it to the Client Relationship Department of BDO along with any required documentation, by which ever method you choose:

Q: What information is required from me to apply?

A: To qualify for your BDO Visa credit card, you must have an open and current bank account at BDO with a minimum balance of $25,000. Click here for information how to open a BDO business account.

Q: What is involved in switching my credit card account to BDO?

A: Switching is easy; just follow these 4 easy steps:

  • Open a new BDO credit card account
  • Notify your service providers of your new credit card account number to be charged so your regular direct debits will be charged to your BDO card
  • Cancel your old credit cards
  • Discover the benefits and rewards of your new BDO credit card

Q: How does the interest free days work?

A: You enjoy up to 50 days interest-free on all purchases, providing you repay the balance of your card in full each month, on or before the due date. Interest-free periods are not applicable for any cash withdrawals. These transactions incur interest from the date the transaction is made (regardless of whether the account is repaid in full each month). Interest is charged on retail purchases if the statement's full closing balance is not repaid by the due date.

Q: Who do I contact if I have lost my card?

A: If your credit card is lost or stolen please call BDO Card Services Department within business hours (09:00 – 17:00 AST Monday to Friday) via

A Client Relationship Associate will immediately block your old card and re-issue you with a new card. Allow up to 8 business days to recieve your new card. We will ask you whether you prefer to pick up your card, or recieve it via courier at your preferred address.

In addition to blocking your card, the Client Relationship Associate will enquire about all recent activity on your account. This lets us fully investigate any unrecognised transactions made with your Credit Card.

Q: How can I effectively manage my account?

A: We can offer you some handy tips to help you manage your account:

  • Get a general understanding of how the interest is calculated and applied to your credit card account
  • Try to always make the Minimum Payment or Full Payment amount on the statement
  • Review the transactions on your account and monitor your available credit to ensure you have the ability to make more transactions
  • When buying products, look for companies that offer interest free periods or discounts
  • Always read and understand the terms and conditions of your account

Q: Are there any joining or ongoing fees for the Rewards Programme?

A: There are no joining or ongoing fees for the BDO Rewards programme. You are automatically enrolled when your card is activated.

Q: Can I use my rewards points to pay for my BDO credit card annual fee?

A: No, your rewards points are used for travel related expenses only (e.g. airline tickets, hotel, car rental)

Q: Are my rewards capped?

A: No, there is no cap on rewards. All purchases made with your BDO Visa Gold Business credit card qualify for cash back rewards.
